The group INSIEME PER CASO was founded in 1991 in La Serra (in the borough of San Miniato, Pisa) as a youth choir, under the musical direction of Maestro Fabrizio Berni.
At present, the vocal section consists of 17 vocalists (14 women and 3 men); since 1997, a band of valuable musicians have become permanently part of the group.
The repertoire is mainly orientated towards Gospel and songs from musicals, but includes also pop, classical, jazz and traditional songs.

It has also played during several recitals for choral groups and has been invited to perform in cities all around Tuscany, Italy and Europe. They have played many times in  concerts for charity.

During February 2005 the group INSIEME PER CASO realized the performance “Ostaggi di Pace”, part of the project “San Miniato incontra Betlemme”, under the sponsorship of Tuscany Region. The group collaborated with the Israelian actor Ronny Wertheimer and the Palestinian director Akram Telawe. “Ostaggi di Pace” gave the group the chance to face acting and a new variety of songs taken from Arabian and Hebraic culture. The show was repeated in a new edition under the direction of Andrea Mancini and again, in October 2006, with the direction of Telawe at the Sanctuary “La Madonna” in San Romano (Pisa).

insieme-per-caso-0003In July 2007 the show “Fancy Cats” has opened in San Miniato. The idea for the show, cleverly directed by Loriano Salvadori, comes from the sounds, voices and images of the world famous musical “Cats” (A. L. Webber), and then develops autonomously taking inspiration by “Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats.” and “The Waste Land”, both written by the Nobel winner poet T.S. Eliot.
